You are limited to your imagination with these. Bands travel well and are simple to take any where you go. The thing that they do better than any other tool is, provide a horizontal resistance. You can attach the band to a soid object or a training partner to practice sprint, direction changing and pushing or pulling exercises.

Are ab machines actually effective?

No doubt a lot of people question if these ab machines they see on TV are for real or just scams. For the most part, people recall the infomercials that come on late at night and pushing all sorts of ridiculous products.

Some of these outrageous displays are too incredible to be believed. Here’s a tip, not every machine is effective;  some are worthless and will not provide any benefit for your abdominal muscles. Some are good pieces of equipment, but are overhyped and you will need to be critical in your inspection of the machine.

Any piece of equipment must target the ab muscles specifically to be of maximum benefit.  A way equipment can be of assistance is to provide you the ability to intensely focus on your various abdominal muscles much more than say crunches or sit ups. Crunches help the muscles that are layered over your stomach, the rectus abdominals. Your tranvserse ab muscles, obliques, and lower abs are also important, and need to be worked.

After all, when people do the same routine everytime, abs or other body parts, they get stale. They tend to cut their workouts short and pay less attention to their form. However, varying activities gives one more energy and enthusiasim for their workout. The results is that they perform more work and get better abs..

In summary, ab machines can be an effective tool in your tool box, if you want great abs. In order to get results, you will have to invest the time.
